Lisa Martin of i2i, came to EDD with their brief for the stand, which resembled a retro "Boom Box" and incorporated a colourful padded floor area for dancing competitions, a stage
area for the DJ to perform and two touchscreens for an interactive music mixer competition.
Originally designed for
10 events, the roadshow was such a success that the client extended it for a further 8.
"...having worked with Exhibitions & Displays Direct on a previous roadshow event, I was keen to use them again on the Maoam Music Mixer event. The initial design of the set and idea targeted teenagers and young adults and we wanted to make sure our stand was brought to life with touch screen technology, audio and iPads appealing to the target audience. Exhibitions & Displays Direct worked closely with us every step of the way on this 6 month project, touring 18 shopping centres and Xscapes sites. I find them very accommodating, extremely helpful, competitive, and covering all aspects of health and safety and they go that extra mile to make sure the work is finished to a high standard every time. I would certainly recommend them and look forward to working with them again."
